When my fiancee and I got engaged, we did what everyone told us to do. We hired a wedding coordinator who promised she could carry all of it for us - seamlessly.
What she could not carry was the wedding party. Our bridesmaids and groomsmen were scattered across cities and time zones. Bachelor and bachelorette plans stalled in endless group chats. The budget lived in a spreadsheet three people kept overwriting. And every loose end somehow found its way back to the one person who was supposed to be enjoying all of this - her.
Then came the moment that made it undeniable: a bridesmaid accidentally dropped dress-fitting photos into a thread that included the groom. Some things are meant to stay a surprise - and nothing we were using understood that.
I watched the excitement drain out of the happiest season of our lives, and I could not find a single tool built to fix it. So that night, at the same kitchen table, I sketched the first version of Nozari. The idea was simple: one beautiful space where an entire wedding party could plan together - while keeping the right secrets on the right sides.
